An Impediment to Evil
"We ask
you, brothers, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our
assembling with him, not to be shaken out of your minds suddenly, or to be
alarmed either by a "spirit," or by an oral statement, or by a letter
allegedly from us to the effect that the day of the Lord is at hand. Let no one
deceive you in any way. For unless the apostasy comes first and the lawless one is
revealed, the one doomed to perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above
every so-called god and object of worship, so as to seat himself in the temple
of God, claiming that he is a god-- do you not recall that while I was still
with you I told you these things? And now you know what is restraining, that he
may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work.
But
the one who restrains is to do so only for the present, until he is removed from the scene. And then the lawless one
will be revealed, whom the Lord (Jesus) will kill with the breath of his mouth and
render powerless by the manifestation of his coming, the one whose coming
springs from the power of Satan in every mighty deed and in signs and wonders
that lie, and in every wicked deceit for those who are perishing because they
have not accepted the love of truth so that they may be saved. Therefore, God
is sending them a deceiving power so that they may believe the lie, that all
who have not believed the truth but have approved wrongdoing may be condemned.
But we ought to give thanks to God for you always, brothers loved by the Lord,
because God chose you as the firstfruits for
salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in truth. To this end
he has (also) called you through our gospel to possess the glory of our Lord
Jesus Christ. Therefore, brothers, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions
that you were taught, either by an oral statement or by a letter of ours. May
our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us
everlasting encouragement and good hope through his grace, encourage your
hearts and strengthen them in every good deed and word." (2 Thes
2:1-17)
Witness the
Pontificate of Pope John Paul II. It appeared to have been orchestrated by
Heaven!
His pontificate was a consistent preparation for, and struggle against, the
Evil of the End Times. In the light of his recent repeated references to the
book of Revelation, and his recent statements to certain cardinals and bishops
to "examine the signs of the times", he made a momentous
effort to protect the Faith, and gather his flock before the storm.
He traveled the world evangelizing and caring for his flock unlike any of his
predecessors. Pope John Paul II declared the Great Jubilee year of 2000 the
year of evangelization. Almost immediately after the closing of the holy doors
on the Jubilee year, he commenced discussions regarding joining the Church with
representatives of most all faiths: the Anglicans, the Lutherans, the Moslems,
the Russian Orthodox, schismatic Catholics, the Armenians, and the Jews to name
a few. He promulgated many writings strengthening the Church and edifying the
Catholic Faith. In view of certain private prophecy, both approved and
yet-to-be-approved, these actions and pronouncements appear designed to defend
against the Great Apostasy and the evil forces of the Tribulation (2 Thes
2:1-5).
We have been told that Freemasonry will infiltrate the Church, and that during
the Tribulation the following will come under attack:

Truly, John Paul II dedicated his pontificate to restraining the rebellion of
the Great Apostasy. We have been told that the False Prophet will succeed him; and usher in the
open rebellion of the Great
Apostasy, which has been seeping into the Church for decades.
Then the
Lawless One, the Antichrist,
will rise.
In the Words of John Paul II
Pope John Paul
II, as Karol Cardinal Wojtyla, spoke these words
during a visit to the United States in 1976:
"We are
now standing in the face of the greatest historical confrontation humanity has
gone through. I do not think that wide circles of the American society or wide
circles of the Christian community realize this fully. We are now facing the
final confrontation between the Church and the anti-Church, of the Gospel
versus the anti-Gospel. This confrontation lies within the plans of Divine Providence…It
is a…test of 2,000 years of culture and Christian civilization with all of its
consequences for human dignity, individual rights, human rights and the rights

to suffer, before long, great trials which will require of us
the disposition to sacrifice even our life for Christ. Through your prayers and
mine, it is still possible to diminish this trial, but it is no longer possible
to avert it, because only in this manner can the Church be effectively renewed.

(n.b. We know that Pope John Paul II read the secret 3rd part
of the message of Fatima shortly after being elected Pope, and then again in 1981.
According to Pope John Paul II in this account written in 1994, he was expecting the
fulfillment of the 3rd part of the message of Fatima to be realized
soon. In contrast Cardinal Sodano and then-Cardinal Ratzinger in 2000, stated that the 3rd part of the message of
Fatima was realized with the attempted assassination of John Paul II in 1981. Their "official
interpretation" also marked the first time that the Vatican has officially
"interpreted" private revelation.).

During the
Ordinary Public Consistory held in St. Peter's Square on February 21, 2001 in
the presence of tens of thousands of faithful, Pope John Paul created 44 new
cardinals. His speech emphasized the cardinals required fidelity to the Pope,
the need to examine the 'Signs of the Times', and their commitment to remain
loyal to the faith even unto the shedding of their blood. He said:
"Venerable
Brothers, you are the first Cardinals to be created in the new millennium.
After having drawn in abundance from the sources of divine mercy during the
Holy Year, the mystical barque of the Church is
preparing anew 'to put out into the deep', to bring the message of salvation to
the world. Together let us unfurl her sails to the wind of the Spirit, examining the signs of
the times and interpreting them in the light of the Gospel, to answer the
ever recurring questions which men ask
about the meaning of this present life and of the life to come". (John Paul

of the lay faithful has arrived," the Pope said when meeting with bishops
from the ecclesiastical provinces of Indianapolis, Chicago and Milwaukee,
during their five-yearly visit to Rome…"Taking up this challenge, however,
will require a realistic and comprehensive reading of the 'signs of the times,' in order to develop a
persuasive presentation of the Catholic faith," he observed…"Now is
above all the hour of the lay faithful, who, by their specific vocation to shape
the secular world in accordance with the Gospel, are called to carry forward
the Church's prophetic mission by evangelizing the various spheres of family,

bishops of the USA while making their ad limina
visit to the Vatican, Pope John Paul II said: "…I leave two charges to you and your brother
bishops." . The first is a fraternal
encouragement to persevere joyfully in the ministry entrusted to you, in
obedience to the authentic teaching of the Church, Can we not see in the
pain and scandal of recent years both 'a sign of the times' and a providential call to
conversion and deeper fidelity to the demands of the Gospel. -- In her own way,
the Church in the United States has been called to begin the new millennium by
"starting afresh from Christ" and by making the truth of the Gospel
clearly the measure of her life and all her activity.

I once more praise your efforts to ensure that each individual and group in the
Church understands the urgent need for a consistent, honest and faithful witness to the Catholic
faith, and that each of the Church's institutions and apostolates expresses in

The Great Apostasy

"Beloved,
being very eager to write to you of our common salvation, I found it necessary
to write appealing to you to .contend for the faith
which was once for all delivered to the saints.. For
admission has been secretly gained by some who long ago were designated for
this condemnation, ungodly persons who pervert the
grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus
Christ. Now I desire to remind
you, though you were once for all fully informed, that he who saved a people
out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. And
the angels that did not keep their own position but left their proper dwelling
have been kept by him in eternal chains in the nether gloom until the judgment
of the great day; just as Sodom and Gomor'rah and the
surrounding cities, which likewise acted immorally and indulged in unnatural
lust, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire. Yet in like manner these
men in their dreamings defile the flesh, reject
authority, and revile the glorious ones. But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil,
disputed about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a reviling

These are blemishes on your love feasts, as they boldly carouse together,
looking after themselves; waterless clouds, carried along by winds; fruitless
trees in late autumn, twice dead, uprooted; wild waves of the sea, casting up
the foam of their own shame; wandering stars for whom
the nether gloom of darkness has been reserved for ever. It was of these also
that Enoch in the seventh generation from Adam prophesied, saying,
"Behold, the Lord came with his holy myriads, to execute judgment on all,
and to convict all the ungodly of all their deeds of ungodliness which they
have committed in such an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which
ungodly sinners have spoken against him." These are grumblers,
malcontents, following their own passions, loud-mouthed boasters, flattering
people to gain advantage. .But you must remember,
beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; they said to
you, "In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly
passions." It is these who set up divisions, worldly people, devoid of the
Spirit. But you, beloved, build yourselves up on your most holy faith; pray in
the Holy Spirit; keep yourselves in the love of God; wait for the mercy of our
Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And convince some, who doubt; save some, by snatching them out of
the fire; on some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment spotted by the
flesh. Now to him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you
without blemish before the presence of his glory with rejoicing, to the only
God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and
authority, before all time and now and for ever. Amen. (Jude

"There
were also false prophets among the people, just as .there will be false teachers among you, who will introduce
destructive heresies and even deny the Master who ransomed them, bringing swift
destruction on themselves. Many will follow their licentious ways, and because of them the
way of truth will be reviled. In their greed they will exploit you with
fabrications, but from of old their condemnation has not been idle and their
destruction does not sleep. For if God did not spare the angels when they
sinned, but condemned them to the chains of Tartarus and handed them over to be
kept for judgment; and if he did not spare the ancient world, even though he
preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness, together with seven others, when he
brought a flood upon the godless world; and if he condemned the cities of Sodom
and Gomorrah (to destruction), reducing them to ashes, making them an example

the lawless deeds that he saw and heard), then the Lord knows how to rescue the
devout from trial and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of
judgment, and especially those who follow the flesh with its depraved desire
and show contempt for lordship. Bold and arrogant, they are not afraid to
revile glorious beings, whereas angels, despite their superior strength and
power, do not bring a reviling judgment against them from the Lord. But these
people, like irrational animals born by nature for capture and destruction,
revile things that they do not understand, and in their destruction they will
also be destroyed, suffering wrong as payment for wrongdoing. Thinking daytime
revelry a delight, they are stains and defilements as they revel in their
deceits while carousing with you. Their eyes are full of adultery and insatiable for sin. They
seduce unstable people, and their hearts are trained in greed. Accursed children!
Abandoning the straight road, they have gone astray, following the road of
Balaam, the son of Bosor, who loved payment for
wrongdoing, but he received a rebuke for his own crime: a mute beast spoke with
a human voice and restrained the prophet's madness. These people are waterless
springs and mists driven by a gale; for them the gloom of darkness has been
reserved. For, talking empty bombast, .they seduce
with licentious desires of the flesh those who have barely escaped from people
who live in error. They promise them freedom, .though they themselves are
slaves of corruption, for a person is a slave of whatever overcomes him. For if
they, having escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of
(our) Lord and savior Jesus Christ, again become entangled and overcome by
them, their last condition is worse than their first. For it would have been
better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing
it to turn back from the holy commandment handed down to them. What is
expressed in the true proverb has happened to them, "The dog returns to
its own vomit," and "A bathed sow returns to wallowing in the
mire."

by me, that will have the task of receiving Christ, who will return to you in
glory, bringing about in this way the beginning of the new era which awaits

The Blessed
Virgin Mary said: "On the feast of my Immaculate Heart of this Marian
Year, consecrated to me, beloved sons, I am calling all of you to enter into
the heavenly garden which I have built for you, during these painful and bloody
moments of the purification.
.The hour of the great apostasy has come. What has been foretold in
Holy Scripture, in the Second letter of Saint Paul to the Thessalonians, is now
on the point of coming to pass.
Satan, my
Adversary, with snares and by means of his subtle seduction, has succeeded in
spreading errors everywhere, under the form of new and more updated
interpretations of the truth, and he has led many to choose with full knowledge
-- and to live in -- sin, in the deceiving conviction that this is no longer an
evil, and even that it is a value and a good.
The times
of the general confusion and of the greatest agitation of the spirits has come. Confusion has entered into
the souls and the lives of many of my children.
This great
apostasy is spreading more, even through the interior of the Catholic Church. Errors are being taught
and spread about, while the fundamental truths of the faith, which the
authentic Magisterium of the Church has always taught and energetically
defended against any heretical deviation whatsoever, are being denied with
impunity.
The episcopates
are maintaining a strange silence and are no longer reacting. When my Pope
[i.e. John Paul II] speaks with courage and reaffirms with force the truths of
the Catholic faith, he is no longer listened to and is even publicly criticized
and derided. There is a subtle and diabolical tactic, woven in secrecy by Masonry, which is used today
against the Holy Father [John Paul II] in order to bring ridicule upon his
person and his work and to neutralize his Magisterium.
Victims
of the great apostasy are those children of mine who often unknowingly, allow
themselves to be carried along by the wave of errors and of evil.
Victims of
the great apostasy are many bishops, priests, religious and faithful.
.In these times, in the
Catholic Church, there will remain a little remnant who will be faithful
to Christ, to the Gospel, and to its entire truth. The little remnant will form
a little flock, all guarded in the
depths of my Immaculate Heart. This little flock will be made up of those bishops, priests,
religious and faithful who will remain strongly united to the Pope [i.e. John
Paul II], all gathered together in the cenacle of my Immaculate Heart, in an
act of unceasing prayer, of continual immolation, of total offering to prepare
the painful way for the second and glorious coming of my Son Jesus..
On this
feast of mine in this Marian Year, I address to all those who wish to become
part of the little flock the motherly invitation to consecrate themselves to
my Heart, to live in intimacy of life with me, to become my courageous
apostles in these last times, because the moment when my Immaculate Heart
must be glorified before all the Church and before all humanity has come."

Virgin Mary said: "…The great trial has come for the Church, so violated by the evil
spirits, so divided in its unity, so darkened in its holiness. See how error has
flooded throughout it, error which leads to the loss of the true faith. Apostasy is spreading
everywhere.
.A special gift of my Immaculate
Heart for these times of yours is the Catechism of the Catholic Church, .which my Pope [i.e. John
Paul II] has wished to promulgate, to be as it were his shining last testament.
But how many are those pastors who grope about in the mist, become speechless
out of fear or compromise, and who no longer defend their flocks from the many
rapacious wolves!
Many priestly
and consecrated lives have become dried up by impurity, seduced by pleasures
and the search for comfort and well-being. The faithful are being drawn in by
the enticements of a world which has become pagan, or by the countless sects
which are spreading more and more.
The hour of
its great trial has above all come for the Church, because it will be shaken by
the lack of faith, obscured by apostasy, wounded by betrayal, abandoned by its
children, divided by schisms, possessed and dominated by Freemasonry, turned into fertile
soil from which will spring up the wicked tree of the man of iniquity, the

John Paul II] is worn out. He has more physical complications than you will ever know. He is surrounded
by nonbelievers.
Pray for him
but pray only for My Will to be done. Pray and assist him in his pain for his
work on earth is nearly over.
.Pray for My Church for the
one who succeeds him will open wide the doors of the 'Great Schism.' [Benedict XVI succeeded
John Paul II]. So many of My priests do not follow Me -- they are not of Me.
All that I
taught, all that I command will be readily changed when these men take office. .The one they elect to
fill Peter's Chair will change the Mass, teach false doctrine, change Holy Scripture
and feed you at a table that which is not of Me. There
will be no Sacraments, no Sacramentals and no reminders of Me
in the Church. It will be empty.
Now will be the
time to go underground. Good priests will be hard to find. Be very careful.
Pray and I will assist you. Keep the faith, dear ones, keep the faith and trust
in Me."

opposed by their confreres ... churches and altars sacked, the Church will be
full of those who accept compromises. and the demon will press many
priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord. The demon will
be especially implacable against souls consecrated to God. The thought of the
loss of so many souls is the cause of my sadness. If sins increase in number
and gravity, there will be no longer pardon for them. " (Our Lady

schism in My Church back at the time of the Reformation when division came in many
Protestant Denominations. Today, there are many informal schisms going on with
disobedience to what My pope son [i.e. John Paul II]
is teaching in upholding My Church laws and My Commandments. You will see a
formalized schism coming in My Church as a sign of the tribulation taking place. There will be another division in My Church between a
schismatic church and My faithful remnant. Those, who
will remain faithful to Me, will be in the minority. I will describe the
schismatic church so that you will be able to recognize it when it happens. .There are
three main tenets that will be upheld in the schismatic church. First, they will be
supporting a New Age religion which worships the earth, the moon, and many gods
and goddesses of the earth. Second, they will teach that fornication, adultery,
and masturbation are not mortal sins. That is they will teach that living
together heterosexually or homosexually without proper marriage is not sinful.
Third, this evil church will take away all reverence for My Blessed Sacrament
and say the bread is only a symbol and not My Real Presence.. I am describing this schism
because you are already seeing these signs coming into your churches and you
should know that this is an evil influence led by the masons in My Church. Pray
for your priests, bishops, and cardinals that they remain faithful to My teachings as the apostles taught, and not as some are
misinterpreting the Gospels to their own liking. My people need to be
strong in your faith by daily prayer and frequent Confession, and visits to My
Blessed Sacrament. This evil age will test everyone dearly in what you truly
believe."

world religion. .The Antipope, who will
replace Pope John Paul II, will make accommodations to join all religions as one.. Many Traditions of My
church will be compromised under the guise of unity. Unifying the Churches
will be one more step by the Masons toward one world control. This one world
religion will then allow the Antichrist an opportunity to have everyone worship
him as a world ruler. .Do not follow either the Antichrist or this Antipope, who will be

"My people, I am showing you this golden globe to indicate how the men of
money control your world. Through the various secret societies of world
finance, you will soon see their New World Order brought about. This has been
planned for many years and soon their plan for takeover will be implemented.
They will soon create wars and financial upheavals that will throw the world
into a panic of chaos. This will lay the foundation for the coming to power of
the Antichrist. As a result of a world depression and a world famine, the
United Nations will call for a global government to restore order. During a time of martial
law, a one world religion will be imposed which will be a means for religious
persecution to force everyone to worship the Beast and take his mark on their body. All those, who refuse this
mark, will be outlaws and liable for death. .The Antipope, who will replace John Paul II,
will assist in forming this one world religion of false gods. Once the United Nations controls
the world, the Antichrist will assume full control and eliminate all of the
current leaders. As soon as this Evil One will attain full control, I will come
and sift all of these evil ones, as I will cast them into Hell in chains. My
comet of chastisement will bring on My triumph over
Satan, as I will then prepare the world to be renewed and made ready for My Era
of Peace. Have hope, My children, for none of these

Jesus said: " .My beloved remnant
children of My Holy Catholic Church: when My dearest
son, John Paul II is called to his eternal reward, with God, in Heaven, be
prepared for the great schism to take place. and the full attack from
evil men to begin the division of My Church on earth. It is in force today but
then it will come to full bloom. Remember, however, that the gates of Hell will
not prevail against it (My true church --- my faithful remnant).
The false leaders are in
high positions already, just waiting to take full charge. A false church will
emerge. Pray much for discernment, for these men will speak of love, perform
many miracles; they will be of the devil.
The
preparations are being readied. My Body and Blood in the Holy Tabernacle is no longer front and center. Statues, the Way of the Cross
AND my Crucifix are all being done away with. Kneelers and even pews are gone
in some so called churches. The altar is portable and My Church is used as a
theatre. This will become the norm once I bring John Paul II home to Me.
The holy
priesthood will be open to women --- a sacrilege! Nothing will be sacred.
Already the Words I used and passed on to you for Consecration,
are being changed. The Words of Scripture are being changed, all My Words.
Apostasy, schism in My Church!
The disrespect
you see today will grow out of control. My faithful and true priests and
remnant children will go underground. My Church WILL remain.
The true '
Bride of Christ' is My Church and My Church is NOT a building but its loving,
obedient, faithful people, My followers.
Pray, and pray
without ceasing for My son John Paul II, for My good
and faithful priests and for My beloved remnant people. Seek My
mercy on all mankind. Follow and live My Love. Obey your Master. Hear His
voice. I will remain in all who remain in Me.
Seek the
conversion of all poor souls for every one is a child of God. I am Savior of
ALL! Pray and have no fear of what is to happen. I am your Strength. I've told
you I will NOT loose one of My own.
Pray for an
increase of faith --- daily. Become as one with Me. Do
not only seek My Will but hunger for it in your daily life then, live it !
Again I ask you
to pray for all My Church leaders and for them to become daily stronger in
their mission for Me and for My people through their
teaching, example, love and gentleness. I am separating the sheep from the
goats but beware of goats in sheeps clothing. Pray!!!"
April 1, 2005:
Jesus your God spoke, "My children in Scripture I told you I would take
many of my little ones home before the great chastisement begins. Soon you will
hear of the passing from earth to Heaven, one more of My
great Church leaders.
They return to Me to pray for all My dear remnant that
is left behind. I assure you that My beloved Pope,
John Paul II, died in the arms of Mary, Joseph and Me, your Jesus. He is safe
now and free of all pain. He will be known among My
precious remnant as My last great Pope.
The
College of Cardinals will now select a man to fill Peter's Chair. They will
vote almost unanimously and very quickly for John Paul II's
successor. [n.b. This
occurred on April 19, 2005 with the election of Pope Benedict XVI.]
.Now the great schism,
the great apostasy will break wide open.. Without My strong leader
My Church will seemingly collapse. My true Church will soon be forced underground for many false
leaders will now appear. The Freemasons in My fold will have complete control
for the number of true priests is few.
There will be canonizations of souls not of Me and
women will have more freedom, which is also not of Me. The Mass too will change
and I will be passed farther into oblivion. My Church will become secular.
Beware and be rooted firmly in your faith. My children will watch with horror
as My true Church degenerates. This time I predicted
many years ago. The hour has now come for the freemasons in My Church are now
free to carry out all the plans they have been preparing for hundreds of years.
They are now in top positions from priests to cardinals for today, My leader,
the one these freemasons abhorred, is no longer among them.
I will give these evil men and women time to enact these plans until My Church
is all but destroyed. Then I will come to the rescue of My
own, My faithful remnant. I will renew My Church and My children who held out
till the end. I will reward you and punish all others for eternity.
Pray now, dear children, for much strength, deeper faith and great trust in Me. I will see you through it all and I will never leave
you. Abundant graces I send you and I place My peace
in your hearts.
Amen --- yes, now the action will begin, the tribulation worsen as the justice
of God falls upon earth and all its inhabitants."

2001:
Jesus said: A time of grave apostasy
and schism is about to descend upon My Holy Church. Very, very, very few
will decide to follow Me, to remain with Me. Hatred and panic will
grow until the earth is black as coal. The only light that will remain will be
in the hearts and souls of My loving, faithful, true
remnant.
The events leading to these dramatic events is about to climax.
Your ONLY hope, ONLY strength, is through prayer, consecration to Us, total repentance, forgiveness and obedience to the Will
and Commands of Our God and Father.
Not only is
Scripture being fulfilled but each of you is living it, seeing it but not all are believing it.
In a short
time, all Our visitations to earth will cease (public
visitations by Jesus, Mary, etc.) however, private revelations will continue. I
will continue to warn and instruct My precious
remnant; those who are completely Mine by their own free-will, heartfelt
choice.
Children, the
days are numbered; the time is near; the hours are short. Tribulations,
heartache, fear will fill your hearts and all your days for the Father's wrath
is at hand. Only your giving of your free-will, in love to Us,
can help you ---- you as an individual for nation will now fight against nation
with the intent to annihilate ALL creatures, all mankind, the entire earth. I
will come forth then, with My Army, headed by Holy Michael, and we will destroy
ALL evil and We will conquer but not one stone will
stand upon a stone.
We will come,
or not one soul could remain on earth. We will triumph. Cling to Us and to one another as never before. Join in prayer
throughout the day, even over the miles you can and you must join and unite
your hearts to Us for peace, strength and to be lead
by Us. We will direct you. Listen to Us. My remnant people, My
remnant church WILL NEVER PASS AWAY!!!
Stop now and
pray. Reflect on My Words, My teachings, My Love ---- love for all mankind, all
creation. Obey all I've taught you, every word that comes from the mouth of Our
God for He speaks only truth and all will be as He has stated. You never know
when you may hear or read the last message addressed to you.
PRAY!!! . PRAY!!! . PRAY!!! . The hour is nigh! Be totally prepared, My
children. Do not fear ----PREPARE in soul, body and mind.
The Whore of Babylon
"Then one
of the seven angels who were holding the seven bowls came and said to me,
"Come here. I will show you the judgment on the
great harlot who lives near the many waters. The kings of the earth have had
intercourse with her, and the inhabitants of the earth became drunk on the wine
of her harlotry." Then he carried me away in spirit to a deserted place
where I saw a woman seated on
a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names, with seven heads and
ten horns. The woman was wearing purple and scarlet and adorned with gold,
precious stones, and pearls. She held in her hand a gold cup that was filled
with the abominable and sordid deeds of her harlotry. On her forehead was
written a name, which is a mystery, "Babylon the great, the mother of harlots and of the
abominations of the earth." I saw that the woman was drunk on the blood of the holy ones and
on the blood of the witnesses to Jesus. When I saw her I was greatly amazed. The angel
said to me, "Why are you amazed? I will explain to you the mystery of the
woman and of the beast that carries her, the beast with the seven heads and the
ten horns. The beast that you saw existed once but now exists no longer. It
will come up from the abyss and is headed for destruction. The inhabitants of
the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the
foundation of the world shall be amazed when they see the beast, because it
existed once but exists no longer, and yet it will come again. Here is a clue
for one who has wisdom. The seven heads represent seven hills upon which the woman sits. They also represent seven
kings: five have already fallen, one still lives, and the last has not yet
come, and when he comes he must remain only a short while. The beast that
existed once but exists no longer is an eighth king, but really belongs to the
seven and is headed for destruction. The ten horns that you saw represent ten
kings who have not yet been crowned; they will receive royal authority along
with the beast for one hour. They are of one mind and will give their power and
authority to the beast. They will fight with the Lamb, but the Lamb will
conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and king of kings, and those with him are
called, chosen, and faithful." Then he said to me, "The waters that
you saw where the harlot lives represent large numbers of peoples, nations, and
tongues. The ten horns that you saw and the beast will hate the harlot; they
will leave her desolate and naked; they will eat her flesh and consume her with
fire. For God has put it into their minds to carry out his
purpose and to make them come to an agreement to give their kingdom to the
beast until the words of God are accomplished. The woman whom you saw
represents the great city that has sovereignty over the kings of the
earth." (Rv 17)
In order to
understand much of Revelation 17, one must consider it together with the other
prophetic texts and certain private prophecy.
The
Woman is the Great City of Rome
Frequently in
Holy Scripture, unfaithfulness to God is represented metaphorically by sexual immorality or harlotry. In Revelation 17, it is clear that
Rome is the great city, the harlot.
Ancient Babylon
was located in Mesopotamia between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. The word
'Babylon' is Greek for the Hebrew word, 'Babel'. Its native name, 'Babili', means 'gate of the gods'.
Holy Scripture
reveals that false religion began in the land of Babylon. It was there that
Nimrod and his subjects built a great tower in a presumptuous effort to create
an urban culture apart from God. The once great city of Babylon,
became a symbol of evil, power, materialism, and cruelty, centered around
astrology and sun worship. Such pagan
worship surfaced later in a number of parts of the world including the ancient
Egyptian and Roman Empires.
In the days of
the early Christian persecutions, 'Babylon' was the code word used for pagan
Ancient Rome. St. Peter ended his first epistle by telling his audience that
the Church in Rome sends you its greetings. In the DRV it reads: "The church that is in
Babylon, elected together with you,
saluteth you. And so doth my son, Mark.". (1 Pt 5:13)
At the time of
the writing of the First Epistle of Peter, Babylon on the Euphrates lay in
ruins. Further, St. Peter was never in Babylon, Egypt, so he had to be writing
from Rome. In all probability, he was hiding underground to avoid detection by
the Romans at the time. In the ancient writing, The History of the Church,
II, Ch 15, Eusebius speaking of the writings of Pope St. Clement and of Papais,
confirms that St. Peter was in Rome at the time that 1Pe
5:13 was composed, and that he used the word 'Babylon' as a code word for
'Rome'.
In the writing,
'Upon This Rock' we demonstrated that St.
Peter was the first Bishop of Rome and the first Pope of the Catholic Church.
We presented evidence of this in the writings of the following Fathers of the
Church: St. Ignatious of Antioch, St. Irenaeus,
Tertullian, St. Clement of Alexandria; and the historian, Eusebius. Please
refer to that writing for such discussion.
Furthermore,
there is clear evidence that the city of Rev 17 is Rome, as Rome is situated
upon seven hills.
In the
context of Rev 17, the great city of Rome appears to represent much more than
simply an isolated city. Verse 15 reads: " The waters that
you saw where the harlot lives represent large numbers of peoples, nations, and
tongues." While verse 18 reads: "The woman whom you saw represents
the great city that has sovereignty over the kings of the earth." The
'great city' (Rome) appears to represent the capital city of a much larger
pagan geographical area, e.g. the Revived Roman Empire in the European Union,
and subsequently, the entire world under a one-world government (Dn 2:33,
Rv 13:3; 17:15)..
Our Lady of
LaSalette stated that Rome would lose the faith and become the seat of the
Antichrist.(2) A seat is the center
of authority or capital of a governmental body. In Rev 17:18 we see that the
great city has sovereignty over the kings of the earth. In verses 12 and 13, it
is stated that: "The ten horns that you saw represent ten kings who have
not yet been crowned; they will receive royal authority along with the beast
for one hour. They are of one mind and will give their power and authority to
the beast."
Ancient Rome
was the great city that had sovereignty over all of the kings of the world
known to St. John when he wrote Revelation. Rome will be the great city of the
revived Roman Empire (i.e. the European Union) that will be ruled by
Antichrist, and will have sovereignty over all of the kings of the earth at
that time.
It is worthy of
note that the ancient city of Jerusalem is a 'Type'(3) of the contemporary city of
Rome, its 'Antitype'. Consider the following:

Ancient Jerusalem rejected Jesus; and as discussed herein, Rome will reject not only Jesus but His Mystical Body, the Church. (1 Cor 12:27) |

In a number of places within the Old Testament, Jerusalem is referred to as a harlot due to her unfaithfulness to God (e.g. Ez 16:1-3,26; Jer 2:1-2,17-20; Is 1:1,21; Jer 3:1-2,6-8; Jer 5:1,5-7; Ez 23:1-5,11,17-19). In the New Testament, Rome is referred to as a harlot due to her unfaithfulness to God (e.g. Rv 17:1,15-16; Rv 19:2). |

As we see in Lev 21:9, the punishment for harlotry is burning by fire: " And the daughter of any priest, if she profanes herself by playing the harlot, profanes her father; she shall be burned with fire". Jerusalem was desolated by fire by the Romans in 70 A.D. (Mt 24:1-2, Lk 21:5-6); and Rome will be desolated by fire, also (Dn 9:24-27 & Rv 18:8,17). |

The
European Union is the Revived Roman Empire
You will recall
that in second chapter of Daniel, Daniel was explaining the dream of King Nebuchadnezzar.
Many scholars hold that with respect to the image of the statue in his dream, the legs of iron represent the ancient Roman
Empire, and the feet partly of iron and partly of clay represent the revived
Roman Empire in the form of a loose confederation of countries. Many believe that the
European Union, which came into existence formally during 1992, is such revived
Roman Empire. Also worthy of note, are the ten toes of iron and clay. Some see a
correlation between the number of toes and the ten kings of Dan 7:24, Rev 17
and the ten kings of the revived Roman Empire spoken of St. Cyril of Jerusalem:
"But this
aforesaid Antichrist is to come when the times of the Roman empire
shall have been fulfilled, and the end of the world is now drawing near. There shall rise up
together ten kings of the Romans, reigning in different parts perhaps, but all
about the same time; and after these an eleventh, the Antichrist, who by
his magical craft shall seize upon the Roman power; and of the kings who
reigned before him, three he shall humble, and the remaining seven he shall
keep in subjection to himself. At first indeed he will put on a show of
mildness (as though he were a learned and discreet person), and of soberness
and benevolence: and by the lying signs and wonders of his magical deceit
having beguiled the Jews, as though he were the expected Christ, he shall
afterwards be characterized by all kinds of crimes of inhumanity and
lawlessness, so as to outdo all unrighteous and ungodly men who have gone before
him displaying against all men, but especially against us Christians, a spirit murderous and
most cruel, merciless and crafty. And after perpetrating such things for three
years and six months only, he shall be destroyed by the glorious second advent from heaven of the only-begotten Son of God,
our Lord and Savior Jesus, the true Christ, who shall slay Antichrist with the
breath of His mouth, and shall deliver him over to the fire of hell."……(St. Cyril, Archbishop of Jerusalem; Lecture XV; 315-386
A.D.).
The premier
image of ancient Babylon was rebuilt in Europe in 1998. Those who have rejected
God, as their predecessor Nimrod did millenia before,
have built an EU parliamentary building in Strasbourg, France. It is named the
Louise Weiss Building and its centerpiece is an enormous replica of the Tower of
Babel.. The Tower of the Louise
Weiss Building is designed to resemble incomplete construction, and closely
resembles the 16th century painting of the Tower of Babel by Pieter
Brueghel the Elder in which the construction of the Tower was incomplete. The
secular press has nicknamed the EU building, 'The Tower of Eurobabel'.
Additionally,
there are reports including pictures, that the EU has circulated posters of a
painting of the Tower of Babel, with 12 inverted stars above it and the
caption: "Europe - Many Tongues, One Voice". Inverted stars are Satanic symbols.
We see further
evidence of Revelation 17 being realized in the European Union in the various
other symbols that it has embraced. .The image of the
mythical woman 'Europa riding the beast, Minos' is prevalent in the EU's (or
its member countries';) currency, postage stamps, official logos, statues,
stationery, magazine covers, etc. It is common to see the woman riding the beast in these official
representations dressed in purple.
The
Continuous Offering is the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
Chapters 2, 7,8,9,11 and 12 of Daniel appear to be narratives that are
interrelated with much of the same details being told
differently. These verses together with certain verses of Matthew 24, Mark 13
and Luke 21 provide additional insight into understanding the book of
Revelation.
These books of
the Bible address the reign of the Antichrist and his persecution of the
Church. It should be noted that certain of these predictions were satisfied by
Antiochus IV of Syria (a Type of the, Antichrist) who desecrated the Temple of
Jerusalem (167-165 B.C.), installed a statue of the pagan god, Zeus in it, and
suspended the daily sacrifice. As Fr. Most(5) points out in his
Commentary on Daniel(6), not all of the prophecies were satisfied by Antiochus.
Antiochus did not set himself up above all gods, but worshipped Zeus (2 Thes
2:1-5, Dan 8:11, Dan 11:36-37 et al); and there was no expiation of guilt after Antiochus bringing
everlasting justice (Dn 7:27-28).
We addressed
certain of these mysterious verses of Daniel in the writings: 'Must the Reconstruction
of the Temple of Jerusalem Precede the Second Coming of Jesus Christ?' and 'The Abomination of
Desolation'. In the first writing we pointed out that Fr. Most taught that
parts of Daniel (i.e. chapters 7 -12) were written in apocalyptic; that apocalyptic
passages were written in mysterious allegories; and in some cases were written
after the fact. Fr. Most indicated that certain of the verses of Daniel involve
both the past and the future. Indeed Daniel is told by the angel Gabriel that
certain parts of his vision pertain to the End Times. It is important to note
also that , Fr. Most indicated that certain verses
involve multiple fulfillment prophecy(7).
An example is
the enigmatic Daniel 9: 24-27, which reads: "Seventy weeks are decreed for
your people and for your holy city: Then transgression will stop and sin will
end, guilt will be expiated, Everlasting justice will be introduced, vision and
prophecy ratified, and a most holy will be anointed. Know and understand this:
From the utterance of the word that Jerusalem was to be rebuilt until one who
is anointed and a leader, there shall be seven weeks.
During
sixty-two weeks it shall be rebuilt, With streets and
trenches, in time of affliction. After the sixty-two weeks an anointed shall be
cut down when he does not possess the city; And the
people of a leader who will come shall destroy the sanctuary. Then the end
shall come like a torrent; until the end there shall be war, the desolation
that is decreed. For one week he shall make a firm compact with the many; Half the week he shall
abolish sacrifice and oblation; On the temple wing shall be the horrible abomination until the ruin that is
decreed is poured out upon the horror."
In the writing,
'The Abomination of
Desolation' we wrote at length about how the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the
continuing sacrifice; how it will be suspended by the Antichrist, and how the holy words
of consecration will be changed preventing transubstantiation of bread and wine
into the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ and rendering them desolate of Our
Lord's presence.. Of particular note are the
messages given by Our Lady to Fr. Gobbi and by Jesus to John Leary to that
effect.
The Holy
Sacrifice of the Mass is the continuous re-enactment of the sacrifice of Jesus
on Calvary, and as such is offered continuously throughout the world to Our
Heavenly Father on our behalf. It has withheld the wrath of God for 2,000
years.
The
Catholic Church Will Be Driven Underground
As we have seen above the Whore of Babylon will become manifest
throughout the world in the form of Freemasonry with the Antichrist as its
head. It will become prevalent within the Church in the form of Ecclesiastical Masonry. Upon the death of Pope John Paul II, the
apostate Freemasons will seize control of the Church, and the Great Schism will occur shortly thereafter.
Lead by the False Prophet, the majority of the Church will
apostatize, and will no longer be a part of the Catholic Church at that time.
The former Catholics who have apostatized will join others from other religions
in a New Age one-world religion.(8) As discussed above, there is nothing new about such New Age
religion. Its pagan belief system is
centered around the worship of the earth, moon, and
the many gods and goddesses of the earth.
In essence, the pagan belief system of ancient Babylon will be embraced
by many during that time.
.At such time, the
Faithful Remnant Catholic Church will be driven underground by the apostate
Whore of Babylon, who under the leadership of the Antichrist will persecute the Church throughout the world.. In essence, the Catholic
Church will return to the catacombs, from whence she came.
Drunk on the Blood of the Holy Ones and on the Blood of the
Witnesses to Jesus.
Once again, the Catholic Church will be driven underground by the
apostate Whore of Babylon, who under the leadership of the Antichrist will
persecute the Church throughout the world.
Consider the
following: It was in Ancient Babylon, known for its evil, power, materialism,
and cruelty, that the people of God were imprisoned and persecuted for 70
years. It was in Ancient Rome (the Babylon of St. Peter's time and known for it
evil, power, immorality, and cruelty) that the people of God were persecuted,
crucified and fed to the lions for about 300 years. It will be the Revived
Roman Empire in the European Union, which will be characterized by its evil,
power, immorality and cruelty that will persecute, torture and murder certain
of the people of God at the time of the Antichrist.(9) Those who timely answer the
call of their guardian angel and flee to the refuges beforehand will be
fully-protected.(4)
Rome
Has Never Been Destroyed as the Church Has Always Been There
Cardinal John Henry Newman gave a very interesting Advent homily
entitled 'Lecture III: The City of Antichrist'. In it he identified the
great city of Rome as the harlot to come, and identified some very interesting
things about historical Rome and this prophecy.
He pointed out
how although the Roman Empire was burned partially by Nero; and overrun by
Barbarians, divided and looted, the city of Rome was never destroyed. He
explains the reason for this as follows:
"…why has not Rome been
destroyed hitherto? How was it that the barbarians left it? [Ancient] Babylon sunk
under the avenger whom GOD brought against it -- Rome has not: why is this? for if there has been a something to procrastinate the
vengeance due to Rome hitherto, peradventure that obstacle may act again and
again, and stay the uplifted hand of divine wrath till the end come. The cause seems to be
simply this, that when the barbarians came down, GOD had a people in that city. [Ancient] Babylon was a
mere prison of the Church; Rome had received her as a guest. The Church dwelt
in Rome, and while her children suffered in the heathen city from the
barbarians, so again they were there the life and the salt of the city where
they suffered.
Christians understood this at the time, and availed themselves of their
position. They remembered Abraham's intercession for Sodom, and the gracious
announcement made him, that had there been ten righteous men therein, it would
have been saved.
When the city was worsted, threatened, and at length overthrown, the Pagans had
cried out that Christianity was the cause of this. They said they had always
flourished under their idols, and that these idols and devils (gods as they
called them) were displeased at them for the numbers among them who had been
converted to the faith of the Gospel, and had in consequence deserted them,
given them over to their enemies, and brought vengeance upon them. On the other
hand, they scoffed at the Christians, saying, in effect, "Where is now
your GOD? Why does He not save you? You are not better off than we;"- like
the impenitent thief, "If Thou be the CHRIST, save Thyself and us;"
or, like the multitude, "If He be the SON of GOD, let Him come down from
the Cross." This was during the time of one of the most celebrated bishops
and doctors of the Church, St. Augustine; and he replied to their challenge. He replied to them, and to his
brethren also, some of whom were offended and shocked that such calamities
should have happened to a city which had become Christian. He pointed to the cities
which had already sinned and been visited, and showed that they had altogether
perished, whereas Rome was still preserved. Here then he said was the very
fulfillment of the promise of GOD, announced to Abraham; for the sake of the
Christians in it, Rome was chastised, not overthrown utterly..
Historical facts support St. Augustine's view of things: GOD showed visibly,
not only provided secretly, that the Church should be the salvation of the
city. The fierce conqueror, Alaric, who first came against it, exhorted his
troops, "to respect the Churches of the Apostles St. Peter and St. Paul,
as holy and inviolable sanctuaries;" and he gave orders that a quantity of
plate consecrated to St. Peter should be removed into his Church from the place
where it had been discovered.
Again, fifty years afterwards, when Attila was advancing against the city, the
bishop of Rome of the day, St. Leo, formed one of a deputation of three, who
went out to meet him, and was successful in arresting his purpose. A few years
afterwards, Genseric, the most savage of the barbarian conquerors, appeared
before the defenseless city. The same fearless prelate went out to meet him at
the head of his clergy, and though he did not avail to save the city from
pillage, yet he gained a promise that the unresisting multitude should be
spared, the buildings protected from fire, and the captives from torture.
Thus from the Goth, Hun, and Vandal, did the Christian Church shield the guilty
city in which she dwelt. What a wonderful rule of GOD'S providence is herein
displayed, which occurs daily! the Church sanctifies
yet suffers with the world, sharing its sufferings yet lightening them. In the
case before us, it has (if we may humbly say it,) suspended, to this day, the
vengeance destined to fall upon her who was drunk with the blood of the martyrs
of JESUS. What vengeance has never fallen; it is still suspended; nor can
reason be given why Rome has not fallen under the rule of GOD'S general
dealings with His rebellious creatures, and suffered (according to the
prophecy), the fullness of GOD'S wrath begun in her, except that a Christian
Church is still in that city, sanctifying it, interceding for it, saving it. That part of the Christian
Church, (alas!) has in process of time become infected with the sins
of Rome itself, and learned to be ambitious and cruel after the fashion of those
who possessed the place aforetimes. Yet if it were what some would make it, it were
as reprobate as heathen Rome itself, what stays the judgment long ago begun? Why does not the
Avenging Arm, which made its first stroke ages since, deal its second and its
third, till the city has fallen? Why is not Rome as Sodom and Gomorrah, if
there be no righteous men in it?…".
In view of the
comments of Cardinal Newman and the prophecies discussed herein, when the
Catholic Church is driven from Rome by the Whore of Babylon, the great city of
Rome will have sealed her fate. The wrath of God will fall upon Rome as it did
to its Old Testament 'Type', Ancient Babylon.
With respect to
Ancient Babylon Isaiah tells us in 21:9: "Fallen, fallen is Babylon; and all
the images of her gods he has shattered to the ground." Similarly, with
respect to Rome the Antitypical Babylon of Revelation we read of its destiny in
Rev. 18: "And he called out with a mighty voice, "Fallen, fallen is
Babylon the great! It has become a dwelling place of demons, a haunt of every
foul spirit, a haunt of every foul and hateful bird
And
What Was the Fate of Ancient Babylon?
"Howl, for the day of the LORD is near; as destruction from
the Almighty it comes. Therefore all hands fall helpless, the bows of the young
men fall from their hands. Every man's heart melts in terror. Pangs and sorrows
take hold of them, like a woman in labor they writhe; They
look aghast at each other, their faces aflame. Lo, the day of the LORD comes,
cruel, with wrath and burning anger; To lay waste the
land and destroy the sinners within it! The stars and constellations of the
heavens send forth no light; The sun is dark when it
rises, and the light of the moon does not shine. Thus I will punish the world
for its evil and the wicked for their guilt. I will put an end to the pride of
the arrogant, the insolence of tyrants I will humble. I will make mortals more rare than pure gold, men, than gold of Ophir. For this
I will make the heavens tremble and the earth shall be shaken from its place, At the wrath of the LORD of hosts on the day of his burning
anger. Like a hunted gazelle, or a flock that no one gathers, Every man shall turn to his kindred and flee to his own
land. Everyone who is caught shall be run through; to a man, they shall fall by
the sword. Their infants shall be dashed to pieces in their sight; their houses
shall be plundered and their wives ravished. I am stirring up against them the
Medes, who think nothing of silver and take no delight in gold. The fruit of
the womb they shall not spare, nor shall they have eyes of pity for children.
And Babylon, the jewel of kingdoms, the glory and pride of the Chaldeans, Shall
be overthrown by God like Sodom and like Gomorrah. She shall never be
inhabited, nor dwelt in, from age to age; The Arab shall not pitch his tent
there, nor shepherds couch their flocks. But wildcats
shall rest there and owls shall fill the houses; There ostriches shall dwell,
and satyrs shall dance. Desert beasts shall howl in her castles, and jackals in
her luxurious palaces. Her time is near at hand and her days shall not be
prolonged. (Is 13:6-22)
"As you
saw the iron mixed with miry clay, so they will mix with one another in
marriage, but they will not hold together, just as iron does not mix with clay.
And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall
never be destroyed, nor shall its sovereignty
be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and
bring them to an end, and it shall stand for ever. " (Dn
2:43-44)
.Just as false religion
began with Ancient Babylon, all forms of false religion
will end with the 'Antitype' Babylon of Revelation, the European
Union/One-World New Age Religion under the Antichrist.
So, who is
the Whore of Babylon seated in the city of seven hills, Rome? As we have seen
above, the Revived Roman Empire has been realized in the European Union; the
Catholic Church in Rome will be overrun by the Apostate Freemasons; the true
Remnant Catholic Church will be driven underground; and Rome will become the
seat of the Antichrist, who will rule over the earth from there. Clearly, the Whore of
Babylon will be those who reject the Catholic Faith, follow the False Prophet,
accept the Mark of the Beast (selling their souls to Satan), follow the
Antichrist and persecute the Church..
"And I say to thee: That thou
art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell
shall not prevail against it."
(Mt 16:18)

An Act of Consecration to the
Immaculate Heart of Mary
I, (your name), a faithless sinner-- renew and ratify today
in thy hands, O Immaculate Mother, the vows of my Baptism; I renounce forever
Satan, his pomps and works; and I give myself
entirely to Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Wisdom, to carry my cross after Him all
the days of my life, and to be more faithful to Him than I have ever been
before.
In the presence
of all the heavenly court I choose thee this day, for my Mother and Mistress. I
deliver and consecrate to thee, as thy slave, my body and soul, my goods, both
interior and exterior, and even the value of all my good actions, past, present
and future; leaving to thee the entire and full right of disposing of me, and
all that belongs to me, without exception, according to thy good pleasure, for
the greater glory of God, in time and in eternity. Amen.

An Act of Consecration to the
Sacred Heart of Jesus
Most Sacred
Heart of Jesus, Abyss of Mercy and Source of every grace and blessing, I consecrate and unite myself to You
without exception or reserve - all that I am and all that I have, both temporal
and spiritual, past present and future, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
your Mother.
I leave myself entirely at Your disposal with complete
confidence in Your Mercy and Love and I beg You to look upon this offering of
my nothingness before You and to use me for Your own glory, for the honor of
Your Mother and for the salvation of souls. Help me to seek You
alone in all things. Hide me in the shelter of Your Most Sacred Heart and be my
only Consolation and Refuge.
Grant me the graces I need to joyfully accept Your Cross daily, to lead a holy
life and to die a holy death in Your service. Help me
to trust completely in Your Mercy and Love and never to fear to humbly throw
myself before the infinite Ocean of mercy which is Your Most Sacred Heart,
especially at those times when I may fail in my faithfulness in Your service. Through this weak and miserable instrument,
may Your Mercy, Love, glory and power shine forth.
Above all, set my poor heart on fire with the Flame of Love which burns in Your
Most Sacred Heart, and teach me how to return love for Love. Most Sacred Heart
of Jesus, have mercy on me - for I place all my trust in You.

How To
Save Your Children
During one of
the cenacles which Fr. Gobbi held in the United States, he was urged by many concerned people to ask Our Lady specifically what
could be done to save the youth from the seductions of the world which were
leading many of them astray and causing them to leave the Church. Our Lady gave
Fr. Gobbi this definite and final solution to console the parents who are so
concerned about the salvation of their children:

Pray the Rosary ! |

Every time you pray the Rosary say: "With this Rosary I bind all my children to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.". |

In doing so, Our Lady promised "to see to their souls.". |
|

doctorates in both classical languages and theology. For over 40 years,
beginning in the 1940's, he taught undergraduates at Loras
College in Dubuque, Iowa. Then at the end of the 1980's, while in his own
mid-70's, Fr. Most moved to northern Virginia to take a position on the
faculty of the Notre Dame Institute, a Pontifical institute offering a
Masters Degree in religious studies. He was the
author of twelve scholarly and popular books and a host of articles covering
such topics as grace, Scriptural interpretation, the role of Mary in the
redemption, and many other topics, Fr. Most was internationally recognized as
one of the premier faithful Catholic theologians of our time. His theological
breakthroughs on difficult questions regarding grace, free will and the
prerogatives of Mary are already legendary. Fr. Most died
in January of 1999 at the age of 84. He had spent well over sixty of those
years in direct, active and faithful service to the Church for the glory of
God and the salvation of souls. |
