SUPREME AUTHORITY OF THE POPE
UNTIL DEATH
"Brothers I beg you to be on watch against those who cause dissension and scandal, contrary to the teaching you have received. Avoid their company. Such men serve, not Christ Our Lord, but their own bellies, and they deceive the simpleminded with their smooth and flattering speech…I want you to be wise...Then the God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet
." (Romans 16:17-20).
LET THERE BE NO CONFUSION ---
This writing will make reference to three documents: (1) The Catechism of the Catholic Church in respect of the supreme authority of the Pope in all matters until his death, (2) the new Vatican City State Constitution with effect on February 22, 2001, the feast of the Chair of St. Peter; and (3) The Apostolic Constitution, Universi Dominici Gregis -- On the Vacancy of the Apostolic See and the Election of the Roman Pontiff.
The Pope is the Supreme Pontiff in all matters relating the Catholic Faith and the Catholic Church. He answers to no human; He answers to God alone. The cardinals and bishops, both individually and collectively, report to, and are subject to, the Pope. Prior to their consecration, each cardinal and each bishop must take an oath of fidelity and obedience to the Pope. Ecumenical councils can only be called by the Pope, and it is the subsequent approval of the Pope that makes the councils ecumenical. That action is the exercise of his office of supreme teacher and ruler of the Church. Its necessity results from the fact that no authority is commensurate with the whole Church except that of the Pope; he alone can bind all the faithful.
The following are a few excerpts of the Catechism of the Catholic Church worthy of note:
881. "The Lord made Simon alone, whom he named Peter, the 'rock' of his Church. He gave him the keys of his Church and instituted him shepherd of the whole flock. [Cf. Mt 16:18-19; Jn 21:15-17] 'The office of binding and loosing which was given to Peter was also assigned to the college of apostles united to its head.'[LG 22 # 2.] This pastoral office of Peter and the other apostles belongs to the Church's very foundation and is continued by the bishops under the primacy of the Pope.".
882. "The Pope, Bishop of Rome and Peter's successor, 'is the perpetual and visible source and foundation of the unity both of the bishops and of the whole company of the faithful.'
[LG 23.] 'For the Roman Pontiff, by reason of his office as Vicar of Christ, and as pastor of the entire Church has full, supreme, and universal power over the whole Church, a power which he can always exercise unhindered.".883.
"The college or body of bishops has no authority unless united with the Roman Pontiff. Peter's successor, as its head." As such, this college has "supreme and full authority over the universal Church, but this power cannot be exercised without the agreement of the Roman Pontiff."937.
"The Pope enjoys, by divine institution, supreme, full, immediate, and universal power in the care of souls.".
Furthermore, a Pope serves until his death. He can not be declared unfit, declared too old, or forced to retire. Nor can he be fired or ousted by any one, or any group. The Pope, as the legitimate successor to Pope St. Peter, can not teach any error or heresy as he is infallible when speaking ex cathdra. It was Jesus who said to Peter: "I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." (Cf. Matthew 16:19)
On February 22, 2001, the feast of the Chair of St. Peter, a new constitution of the Vatican City State took effect. It states clearly, that with respect of the affairs of state, in the Vatican City, the Pope is the chief executive, the sole legislative body, and the sole judge. It states, that he has supreme authority in all matters relating to affairs of state.
He can, and has, delegated certain authority to his subordinates; but their actions in all matters remain subject to his approval.
The Apostolic Constitution, Universi Dominici Gregis -- On the Vacancy of the Apostolic See and the Election of the Roman Pontiff clearly delineates (1) the
limitations of the cardinals and bishops in the absence of a Pope, and (2) the specific process that must be employed in electing a new Pope. IT CAN NEVER BE CHANGED, FOR ANY REASON, BY ANY ONE OR ANY GROUP UNTIL THE END OF TIME.A complete copy of Universi Dominici Gregis is located at:

PROPHECY :
There is significant Scriptural and private prophecy relating to the Great Apostasy of Revelation.
For centuries, there has been a great deal of private prophecy yet-to-be-approved, which collectively, speaks of a Pope being forced out of Rome, and sent into exile.
(It must be emphasized that wherever such true Pope then resides, there also resides the head of the Catholic Church, as well as the headquarters of the Catholic Church.).
Further such prophecies state that at such time there will be GREAT CONFUSION, and they call for a FALSELY-ELECTED, and thereby ILLEGITIMATE so-called "pope", to take over the property and buildings of the Catholic Church (including St. Peter’s Basilica), and to establish a false and demonic one-world religion centered in the city of seven hills. Rome is built upon seven hills.
ONCE AGAIN, AT THIS TIME THE CATHOLIC CHURCH WILL NO LONGER BE CENTERED IN ROME. IT WILL BE CENTERED WHEREVER THE TRUE AND LEGITIMATE POPE THEN RESIDES.
Certain of these prophecies, state that the true Pope is to be murdered while in exile.
During the past few years, there has been a good deal of such private prophecy which states that John Paul II is the legitimate Pope who will be exiled from Rome, and subsequently murdered. Only time will tell. Our prayers must be offered for the protection and well being of this great and holy Pope.
THE ABOVE MENTIONED THREE DOCUMENTS ARE THE OFFICIAL GUIDELINES WHICH WILL IDENTIFY AND DIFFERENTIATE THE LEGITIMATE POPE FROM THE FALSELY-ELECTED APOSTATE "pope" FROM HELL.
